Description

A stunning 19th century very tall gilt-framed wall mirror. This incredibly useful full-length dressing mirror can be affixed to the wall at any height or just rested on the floor as photographed here, making an ideal alternative to a freestanding cheval mirror. It is original throughout, having a beautifully crafted five-panel back, an appealing slightly distressed gilded frame of immense character, and – most importantly – its original mercury glass plate with an abundance of charm and a sparkly glistening reflection. This wonderful mirror is English, c.1870s.
