The back is elegantly curved and beautifully inlaid, the top rail is embellished with a well carved sunburst. Reeded uprights and an elegant cross stretcher add to the striking decorative look of this beautiful chair. The sweeping arms with twisting reeding and exquisite lions head carving make this chair a most outstanding decorative piece. The front legs terminate in well carved paw feet, the back legs follow a simple out swept line. The overstuffed seat has been recovered in a very attractive green moire fabric. A perfect antique armchair to add style to any interior design scheme.
