Early 20th Century Leather Chair

1900 - 1920
Description

An unusual and very decorative early 20th Century beech frame chair, the front stretcher and legs carved in the 17th Century Style. The chair has the beautiful original leather, distressed and worn with a beautiful deep rich colour and patina that can only be acquired with use and age. The leather has some small holes on one arm and a minor tear to the front, please refer to the photographs. These imperfections give this very stylish chair a real country house feel, and this piece just oozes character and style. The chair is very comfortable and sturdy, the seat cushion comprises of a removable feather cushion, recovered in a rich brown velvet fabric. A real statement piece that would add style to any interior.
