The chairs are constructed of solid walnut and features stunning quality carved floral frames. The chairs stand on elegant cabriole legs all round.
The chairs feature shaped backs, shaped sides and a serpentine front. The back rail features stunning floral carvings to the central pediment; the chair frames also boast carved cartouches and knees. The chairs stand on elegant cabriole legs. The seats are firmly sprung so that you do not sink into the seats, but at the same time are extremely comfortable. The undersides of the seats are finished with traditional hessian backing.

This chairs features a rich brown walnut colour. As they boast the original polish they have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received. It is impossible to re-create this colour if they have been re-polished.

Condition Report:
The chairs are in excellent condition. The chairs have been newly upholstered in top quality luxurious embroidered floral silk damask upholstery; therefore the upholstery is in excellent condition (it’s clean with no signs of wear and tear or damage). The seats are firmly strung and the undersides are upholstered in traditional hessian. As the chairs boast the original polish they have a fantastic colour and patination to the wood frames; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received. It is impossible to re-create this colour if they have been re-polished. The carved frames and arms are also in excellent condition with no splits or loose joints, and no missing carvings to the frames. The backs and arms are solid. The chairs are well constructed, solid in joint, and are ready to use.
