Description

A superbly proportioned large George IV Mahogany Library Chair, having a inset panelled top rail with upholstered scrolled arms and reeded back rail. The leather deep seat with original horse hair inners making it exceptionally comfortable chair. Raised on hexagonal tapering front legs with strong splayed back legs. This chair is upholstered in hand tanned black leather with brass stud work decoration. A strong sturdy high quality chair in excellent condition throughout. English, Circa 1825.
