Spectacular Quality Set Of Six Walnut Arts And Crafts Victorian Dining Chairs

Consisting of Two Large Carvers and Four Dining Chairs, these fabulous chairs posses the original makers stamp, Jones and Higgins, Peckham South East and date from around1890. They have tall shaped backs with quality central carvings, pierced back splats, splayed back legs and tapering front legs with shaped feet. The carvers have beautifully out-swept arms and have the original green leather upholstery with matching stud trim. The walnut has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
