Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Both are in super condition and are a good, ample size. All the show wood is solid oak, the arms have turned supports and the front legs are also turned and all have the original brass castors. Traditionally upholstered, with all the innards intact and in very good condition. Dating from around 1870, this is a good quality pair of of large antique armchairs.
