10 Mahogany Balloon Back Dining Chairs

19th century
Description

10 victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs comprising of 8 chairs and two carvers.

the backs with carved detail to the mid rails ( differs on the carvers but they compliment the chairs nicely ) deep button drop in seats upholstered in a dark red coloured velvet type fabric and raised on turned front legs.

with normal marks / scuffs commensurate with age and use and an old repair to the back of one carver, these lovely chairs are in overall good clean condition and are sturdy with no loose joints.
