Mahogany Set of 4 Regency Dining Chairs

19th century
Description

Set of 4 mahogany Regency dining chairs.

Date from C1820-1840. Fantastic age, colour and patina. Beautiful sabre front legs and carved backs.

Solid and strong with no loose joints.

Good new reupholstery job in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.

Overall maximum dimensions:

49cm wide, 55cm deep, 91cm high (45cm high seat when sat on).

Historical structural repairs (to be expected with any period set of dining chairs), but all is good and strong now. A few historic extinct woodworm holes (only visible from underneath the seat), that have been treated for good measure.

Set of 4 mahogany Regency dining chairs.
