Description

Set JAS Shoolbred (famous london maker) of 8 (6 + 2) inlaid mahogany (or red walnut) Queen Anne revival dining chairs.

Date from C1900-1920.

Solid and strong with no loose joints. No woodworm. Fine quality chairs and a very rare find.

Good new reupholstery job in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.

Overall maximum dimensions:

Chair: 56cm wide, 50cm deep, 105cm high (46cm high seat when sat on).

Carver: 59cm wide, 51cm deep, 111cm high (47cm high seat when sat on, 73cm high arms).

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
