Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The open ribband carved backs are surmounted by a foliate carving and have a very stylish central vase. Each of the chairs has a drop in seat pad upholstered in leather. Beneath this is a deep apron and the side chairs have a carved gadroon edging on the front and sides. The armchairs have shaped arms with carved acanthus leafs on the front and are held in place by a curved upright. The back legs are square and outswept and the front legs have carved acanthus quarter brackets and a wonderful cabriole leg finishing on ball and claw feet.
