Pair of Georgian Oak Antique Carver Arm Chairs

This Delightful Pair of Georgian Oak Antique Carver Arm Chairs Date From Around 1790 and have Chippendale design shaped back with pierced back splats. They stand on splayed back legs and moulded front legs with shaped corner brackets and H stretcher for added stability. The fronts have a lovely serpentine shape and the drop in seats are upholstered in a striking early tapestry and the oak has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
