Regency Mahogany Cheval Mirror

Description

A spectacular Regency mahogany cheval mirror; the oval frame with a moulded edge and a wide Shagreen banding with its original bevelled mirror plate. Supported on a large pair of well carved 'herons', standing on a naturlistic base; on a shaped platform with a central Shagreen panel with a shaped apron, the whole raised on twin swept end supports, terminating in turned feet with original brass castors.

English circa 1830. Excellent Condition. Dimensions (ins) 72½ high x 36 wide x 24 deep
