Mahogany Georgian Dining Chair

Description

Mahogany Georgian dining chair.

Dates from C1800-1830. Fantastic age, colour and patina. Great sabre legs and simple carving to the back.

Solid and strong with no loose joints.

Good new reupholstery job in a light grey herringbone upholstery fabric.

Overall maximum dimensions: 49cm wide, 52cm deep, 83cm high (44cm high seat when sat on).

Historical structural repairs (to be expected with any period dining chair), but all is good and strong now. Just a few historical extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
