Rare Design Italian Walnut Chairs, Group of Six

This is a group of very attractive and very rare Italian early XIX century (circa 1800) chairs.

They are made of walnut with a stunning scalloped veneered back.

They are actually three plus three dining chairs differing in a couple of details: three having a cut-out/fret demi-Lune handle at the back and sabre shaped front legs and the other three having more straight front legs.

They are ideal for a round table because of the embracing concave back which, along with the high standard of the traditional re-upholstery, makes these chairs indisputably comfortable.

We see this group of chairs as a perfect complement to a contemporary table and setting.
