The armchair is a good, large size, the solid oak seat has a serpentine shaped front and it is in very good, solid condition. The oak patina and colour is entirely original and lovely. Most of the edges on the antique armchair have decorative raised mouldings. Almost certainly a complete unique design, Miles has never seen this kind of decorative carving on a Welsh country antique armchair.
