A stunning high quality Goncalo Alves Elbow Chair from the George IV period, circa 1825. Having a scrolled arm terminating in bulbous reeded supports, raised on reeded front legs with a strong splayed back leg. The pop in seat covered in hand tanned black leather. Superb proportions, strong grained timber throughout this chair.
