Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The chair has curvaceous side rails which finish as the arm becomes part of the seat. The back legs are outswept and the front legs are turned and squat; these would have had castors originally. The whole frame is sound and sturdy, condition is fair.
Size 76cm high x 72cm wide x 100cm deep.
