A nice quality Georgian revival walnut wing chair. The chair stands on fantastic ball and claw carved feet with real depth to the carving. The knees of the larges are also carved with elaborate scroll work. The chair is of a good generous size with outswept arms and nice curve to the back. The upholstery is a velvet stripe in cream and very pale green. The upholstery is quite old and has a lovely worn lived in feel while still being in very good condition, it would be great for anyone wanting the faded country house look. The chair has a feather pad cushion and the whole is very much in the way a period chair would be upholstered. C.1920.
