Spectacular Set Of Six Victorian Solid Rosewood Antique Balloon Back Chairs

This Spectacular Set Of Six Victorian Solid Rosewood Antique Balloon Back Chairs date from around 1860, with curved moulded balloon backs and elegant leaf carvings. They stand on splayed back legs and beautifully moulded cabriole front legs. This superb set of chairs have recently been upholstered in a neutral velvet fabric with braid trim. The rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
