Set of Six George III Mahogany Dining Chairs

Description

A fabulous set of George III mahogany dining chairs comprising of four singles and two carvers raised on tapered legs. The arched top rail and reeded sides enclose curved and reeded splats with decorative carved floral motifs. These sturdy chairs have well patinated red leather seats,well worn and attractively mellowed with age the leather is naturally distressed by years of use. The chairs have some historic minor repairs which is only to be expected in chairs of this age. However,the overall condition is good and this is a very handsome set of chairs that would add character and style to any dining room.
