A bank of ring turned spindles connect the arms to the chair seat frame. The leather is finished with hand-tacked brass studs to the perimeter of the seat frame. The seat is connected to the base by four sturdy umbrella shaped legs, which terminate on brass castors. The chair revolves 360 degrees and does not recline; chairs of this age were not designed to recline. The chair is extremely comfortable, has a fantastic colour and is in excellent condition.
