Fine Country, Oak Wheel Back Antique Windsor Chair

This charming fine country Georgian oak antique wheel back Windsor chair dates from circa, 1790 and has aged to a wonderful colour. It has a curved wheel back with beautifully turned upright supports and delightful curved arms. This superb antique chair has wonderfully aged, with a beautifully figured and shaped seat and it stands on four beautifully turned legs with H stretcher for added stability. The oak has aged to a lovely warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
