Fantastic Gothic styling and lovely wear/patination to the arms. Quite comfortable to sit in, as it has a racked back (leans back).
Quality and well made armchair, with no loose joints or wobbles.
A heavy, solid and strong chair with no woodworm.
Great proportions and styling.
The upholstery is new, heavy weight with a natural, light cream/oatmeal colour. New feather seat cushion.
Overall maximum dimensions: 68cm wide, 104cm deep, 123cm high.
Period brass castors (with some wear as you might expect), later replacements to the rear. Some finish imperfections...possibly deliberately aged/antiqued at some point in its life, but this adds to the overall charm.
