Chairs Stunning Pair of Italian Walnut Renaissance Carved Throne Chairs C1850

Here we have a stunning and rare pair of Italian Walnut throne chairs c1850. As you can see the chairs have super colour and patina. These fresh to the market chairs have not been on the market for 80 years having resided in the same family for that time. There are cast finials to the top of the side supports with brass studded decoration below. The back support is made from thick hide with great colour. The arms have super carving of fine quality where they meet the upright. The arm supprts are also superbly carved and the arms have scroll ends. The seat is padded and of delicious colour in tan hide. The legs and lower frame have a thick hide skirt. There is carved frieze between the front legs which is of breathtaking quality and there are carved Acanthus and paw feet. The chairs are both decorative, practical and unique. A super pair of period chairs in excellent retail condition ready for your home.
