This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character, with large proportions.
Wood, gesso and wire construction which is typical.
An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location...could be hung in portrait or landscape.
Replacement mirrored glass and plywood back.
Overall maximum dimensions: 86.5cm wide, 132cm high (excluding fixings). Glass area: 69cm wide, 115cm high.
There is some cracking to the gesso (as is the norm) with some minor losses. The frame has been repainted and touched up.
As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
