M Lees and Sons has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Well-carved frames with interlaced splat-backs of gothic inspiration with acanthus leaf decoration below a serpentine carved top-rail with acanthus carved shoulders.The seat rails with lower gadrooned carved edges , and raised on boldly-carved cabriole legs, heavily carved knees, terminating in a 'claw-and-ball' foot.

The drop-in seats upholstered in their original tan leather, with some marks and staining, worn but servicable.
Good grade of mahogany which has achieved a pleasing rich patina, with minor sun fading.
A generously proportioned and comfortable set of chairs.
Excellent condition with no breaks or repairs.
