A charming small, Regency period, mahogany toilet or dressing table mirror. The mirror stands on ebonised ball feet, with a bow front with two drawers, each with ebonised ball handles. The original mirror is supported on very elegantly turned and ebonised supports, and the whole is line inlaid with ebonised stringing. The whole is in very original condition with some old touching up to the ebonising and replacement of stringing. The mirror plate has some foxing associated with age. The mirror is a lovely example of it''s type and of an enormously charming small size. C.1820.
