M Lees and Sons has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Flat fluted pilaster uprights with Corinthinian capital tops , classical flower-design motifs dividing the 3-panel frieze decorated with classical figures around a central Temple . The stepped cornice with applied sphere decoration ,'lambs-tongue' carving beneath a 'rope-twist ' and bead moulding and a flat top .

Good original gilded finish of 'soft',aged patina , with some sympathetic wear showing traces of pink/red ground. Clean ,silvered plates to the mirrors.
Original back ,with re-papered finish .
A good classically-inspired mirror which would bring style and light to a period room setting.
