Good George III Mahogany Toilet Mirror

Description

Good late 18th century George III mahogany serpentine shape base toilet mirror. The lovely serpentine shape base has three drawers, all of which are mahogany lined and have their original ivory knobs and lock. The base has all its original ogee bracket feet.

The oval shaped mirror has the original plate with chamfered soft edge. The uprights with original ivory patera both top and bottom and the original brass fittings.

The drawers have a boxwood line round the edge and the top has a cross banding in tulip-wood. Good colour and patination throughout and in very good original condition.

SIZES; The base is 16 1/2" long by 8" wide and the total height is 24".
