This is a very good quality antique English Edwardian oak revolving office armchair, circa 1910, in excellent original condition.

This is a very good quality antique English Edwardian oak revolving office armchair, circa 1900, in excellent original condition. The chair originates from the county of Lancashire in England, UK. The chair features an elegant shaped splayed fan back below a bowed bar back, shaped arms and a contoured saddle seat. The shaped splayed legs sit on its original castors. The chair rotates 360 degrees; the seat height can be adjusted by turning a ribbed metal screw on the underside of the chair. The chair also features a reclining action. The chair is very comfortable as it features a saddle shaped seat.

This item features a rich golden oak colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report:

The chair and mechanism is in excellent original condition. The chair features its original castors, which are also in good condition. Importantly, there are no breaks to the legs, backs or arms. The reclining mechanism and adjustable height mechanism is also in good working order. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.

The following information provides dimensions on when the chair height is lowered and also raised to its highest setting using by adjusting the central steel rod:
