Quality Set Of Six Edwardian Mahogany Antique Dining Chairs

Consisting Of Two Carvers And Four Dining Chairs this impressive set dates from around 1920. They have wonderfully shaped moulded backs with unusual pierced back splats and out swept moulded arms on the carvers. They stand on splayed back legs with simple moulded front legs with h stretcher for added stability. The drop in seats have been recently upholstered in a neutral fabric so would tie in wonderfully with most interiors. The mahogany has aged to a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
