Description

This is an elegant late Regency period pier glass, in nice original order. The attractively shaped frame is in solid mahogany with an imposing gilded ho ho bird carved to the central freize. The bevelled mirror plate is the original, in nice useable condition, with only minor age related spotting to the glass. There are a few minor age related marks to the carved scrolls at the base but just part of the history and don't detract as the mahogany has a good colour and nice patination. The mirror has pleasingly proportions and is a good size measuring 3 feet high by 20" wide overall.
