A wonderful pair of Chippendale period Elm side chairs. The chairs are a stunning example of their type with a excellent Gothic fretted back splat. The chairs are in great condition with no breaks or repairs. The elm is of a lovely colour with the original patina. The seats are rushed and have been recently redone. A really top quality pair of country Chippendale chairs. C.1770.
