Set of 8 19th Century Elm Dining Chairs

Description

Rare quality set of 8 (6+2) 19th Century elm and seagrass dining chairs.

A great rare quality find, with an elegant design. Beautiful aging and patina.

Solid and strong with no loose joints....far better than most. All seats are good.

Overall maximum dimensions: Chairs: 44cm wide, 42cm deep, 85cm high (45cm high seat). Carvers: 55cm wide, 47cm deep, 83cm high (43cm high seat).

There are just a few historic extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
