The solid oak seats have fabulous carved gadrooned edges and entwined initials C and M on the backs and on the actual seat. This pair of stunning chairs stand on four beautifully turned legs with a curved H stretcher giving them that added stability and have a central turned finial. The Oak has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
