The chairs have been freshly upholstered in top quality gold silk brocade upholstery, displaying a geometric pattern, finished with matching gold braiding. This upholstery would have reflected the original style of upholstery used. The underside of the seats has been re-webbed in the traditional manner, using hessian, to ensure the seats are comfortable but secure at the same time. The chairs stand on elegant tapering string-inlaid mahogany legs.
The chairs feature a mellow mahogany brown colour. As its boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report:
The chairs are in excellent condition having just been professionally reupholstered. Therefore, the upholstery is new and free from damage, rips, and marks or fading. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the frame but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There is no missing inlay to the frames. The frames and arms are solid and in excellent condition with no breaks, splits or lose movements. The armchairs sit firm on the ground and do not wobble. As the chairs boasts the original polish, they have a fantastic mellow colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
