The well done, traditional upholstery is in very good, clean condition.
All the show wood is solid oak, the front legs are turned whilst the back legs splay put and feature the makers stamp and serial numbers.
All four armchair legs have the original brass castors.
A very tidy, good quality antique upholstered armchair by one of England most famous furniture makers, Gillows of Lancaster.
