Wonderful Pair of English Antique Gilt Chairs.

Description

Wonderful Pair of English Antique Gilt Chairs.

This pair of William the Fourth, large antique gilt side chairs date from around 1830.

Both are ampley sized and in very good, strong order.

All the carved show wood is in the original gold leaf finish, the carving is just beautiful, very elaborate with the baluster legs being pierced through.

All four legs finish in amazing, square, brass cup castors which have a hidden in side roller, again, all original.

The upholstery is traditionally done in horse hair, in very good order, finished in a clean fabric which is about 25 years old.

Additional Information: The seat height is 49cm.
