19th Century Victorian gilt framed wall mirror or overmantle. This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character. Could be hung either way by moving chain. An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location. The mirrored glass has light oxidation/foxing/defects and appears original.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. Aged gilt paint finish on wood and gesso, which has been touched up/repainted. There is historic cracking on the gesso as you would expect to see. Some minor gesso decoration losses. Later plywood back. There are just a few extinct historic woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure.

Overall maximum dimensions: 68cm wide, 79cm high, 10cm deep. Glass size 41cm wide, 52cm high.
