Fine Quality Edwardian Solid Mahogany Cockpen Antique Desk Chair

In the Chippendale Design, this Superb Quality Edwardian Solid Mahogany Cockpen Antique Desk Chair circa, 1900 has an intricate cockpen back and fine out swept splayed arms. This delightful antique has cylindrical turned back legs and out swept moulded front legs. There is a double H stretcher for added stability and has been newly upholstered in a brown leather. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
