French Country Chateau Deep Buttoned Armchair.

19th century
Description

This armchair dates from around 1870. It has been well upholstered in a floral linen type fabric some years ago. There is no wear to the fabric but a little fading giving it that sought after shabby chic appearance. The upholstery seems in good internal order & the deep buttoning is done to a high standard. It is on a sturdy beechwood frame with well turned ebonised front legs. It also has its original castors.
