The drop in seats have been recently upholstered in a neutral fabric and the chairs have at some stage been beautifully restored to a high standard. These elegant chairs have the usual old repairs, which can be expected in antiques nearly 200 years old, but in no way detract from their looks and they seem very sturdy for everyday use. They have been finished to a rich medium shade of Mahogany with a striking grain, and are in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
