Set of 4 Regency brass inlaid faux rosewood dining chairs. A great rare find and very decorative. Date from the first half of the 19th Century and have those sought after sabre legs. Solid, heavy and strong with no loose joints. Good new reupholstery in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light cream/oatmeal colour.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. The seat would have originally been cane. Evidence of refinishing.

Overall maximum dimensions: 47cm wide, 55cm deep, 86cm high (42cm high seat).
