Antique William IV carved mahogany and show wood desk elbow carver chair. A great rare find and very decorative. Sought after inverted tulip and melon fluted front legs, plus amazing carved back.....a very high spec expensive chair. Wonderful warm patinated mellow brown colour. Dates from the first half of the 19th Century.

Solid, very heavy and strong with no loose joints. Good new reupholstery in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. Some historic extinct woodworm holes, treated for good measure.

Overall maximum dimensions: 58cm wide, 56cm deep, 88cm high (48cm high seat when sat on, 70cm high arms).
