Macintosh Antiques has dated this piece to the 1700s.
This is a really great example of an early Georgian pier mirror of good large size extremely rare in that it retains all of its original water gilding and unusually its brass candle sconces at the base.

The rear side of the mirror has good undercut carving and is beautifully dry and untouched.
