Set of 4 Victorian 19th Century mahogany balloon back dining chairs. Date from the early/mid Victorian period. Sought after padded backs and very desirable melon fluted front legs, with period brass and ceramic castors (some wear to castors as is to be expected). A great rare find, with a lovely colour, age, patina and charm. Solid heavy chairs, with no loose joints and no significant woodworm. Sought after style of dining chair. The upholstery is a new heavy weight fabric (natural straw with a hint of green mixed fibre).

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.

Overall maximum dimensions: Chair 48cm wide, 57cm deep, 88cm high (44cm high seat when sat on).
