Georgian Country Chippendale Farmer's Armchair C1780

Description

This beautiful GEORGIAN COUNTRY FARMER'S ARMCHAIR, in the manner of CHIPPENDALE, dates from circa 1780.

The CHAIR has pegged joints and is of generous proportions.

The colour and patination are very good and have been built-up over many years whilst standing in a Norfolk Farmhouse.

There is good wear to the front stretcher and the CHAIR is original throughout.

There are old repairs to the seat.

Height: 42 inches (107 cm)

Width: 27.25 inches (69.5 cm)

Depth: 19.75 inches (50 cm)

Height of Seat: 16.5 inches (42 cm)
