This is a very good quality and completely original antique George II English oak country hall chair, circa 1750.

This is a very good quality and completely original antique George II English oak country hall chair, circa 1750. The chair boasts a shaped crest rail, over a broad shaped central back splat, which connects to solid oak seat. The frame of the seat is built with the traditional pegged construction method and sits on straight legs, which are united by connecting stretchers.

The chair features a rich golden brown colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom, living room, dining or hallway. This item would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as it is extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

There is no damage to the frame or breaks to the legs. The chair boasts it original polish and boasts a stunning colour. The chairs sit firm on the ground and do not wobble. The chair is solid in joint and ready to use.
