Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The stylish shaped arms have curved ends and are held in position by 6 various sized turned spindles. The centre splat continues down into the seat. The seat itself is elm and is scooped out of one piece of wood. Beneath this are four splayed turned legs united by turned stretchers. Excellent colour and good patination.
Size 107cm high x 64cm wide x 46cm deep.
